Reflecting on the Milestones of Group Nirmal’s Endeavor:
The story of Group Nirmal began in 1971 under the leadership of Shri Ramautar Saraf. Driven by the passion to provide the highest quality steel products in West Bengal, he established a small wire-drawing unit as part of Central Store Supplies (P) Ltd., a corporation founded by his late father Shri Jhabarmal Saraf in 1942. Despite numerous challenges, Shri Ramautar Saraf persevered and in 1985 established a galvanized steel wire plant under the entity Nirmal Wires Pvt. Ltd, established in 1981.
Through hard work and determination, Group Nirmal has grown into a thriving enterprise in the steel products industry, serving customers across 40 countries globally. Our offerings have expanded to over 100 different products, including galvanized and black steel wires, aluminium conductors, ribbed wires, welding electrodes, and hot-rolled steel products. Our wires are used in a range of applications, including producing umbrella ribs, springs, earthing wires, staying wires, cable armouring, and concrete reinforcement wires. They are utilized in industries such as power generation and transmission, security and protection, fencing, general engineering, automotive, and more.
To serve retail customers, Group Nirmal has established a comprehensive distribution network. This network caters to a broad range of consumers in the agricultural sector and household sector, providing them with chain link fence, barbed wire, and galvanized wire, among others. The retail segment also caters to the small requirements of industrial customers, offering welding consumables and wire nettings, available at our retail counters.
